Wow I just got my first egg from them. Was hoping I could add some with my shipped eggs

FINALLY an egg from one of my July babies!!! And funny thing is she is the last one to get a bigger comb and hers is light red while her sisters are bright red.

But Chardonnay and her 41g egg.

My other 2 July hatches are driving me crazy with going in the coop lots all week and checking out the nest boxes, but not sitting in them yet ... Get so excited every day thinking maybe.... Still no eggs from them. The funny thing is their comb and wattles have been red and puffy ( actually still are) longer than the one that is actually laying!!!

But Chardonnay laid her first egg, one day off then laid the next 3 days in a row. So 4 eggs in 5 days. Not bad!

My blue frizzle project Cochin laid today, well think her going by the camera. She laid a light brown. So neither project laid green. The breeder had bred mom back to a Cochin so thinks she needs to breed her to one with the green egg gene. Sapphire and her egg.
