July 2022 Hatch-A-Long

I know I for sure have at least 3 roos. But they are always moving around and I can't tell for sure... Here are a few pictures of some of them, many are of the same chick. A few are super hard to get pics of.

They will be 6 weeks on Mon

So floofy! Remind me again what kind u have?! Was it ameracanas?
a couple are Cochins (not sure which ones since they all look alike to me. LOL) and a couple are "project" chicks that the breeder had been working on for a few years. They are Cochin/EE crosses that look like Cochins but lay green eggs. A couple of them have MAJOR boots going on!!!!!! They are going to be STUNNING when older and of course at least 1 is a for sure roo that I can't keep. Hoping I can find him a home to live in and not be eaten!

I think most in those pics are boys, some are the same chick though. I LOVE splash Cochins and wanted one so bad. That is why I have so many babies since I bought hatching eggs.

I also have a blue frizzle project baby so she will lay green eggs. Well so far I think it is a she. I will keep her.
