Congrats! I know those bantams usually come sooner. I have two Nankins that are due to hatch on the first..betting they come on the 31st..Sunday!
So happy for you....I have one out, one pipped... Pictures..we need pictures...
Yahhhhhhhhh you have a chicky too!!!!!
My poor little chicky is pecking at everything in the bator (his egg, the egg cartons, his brother's egg (if I plan on them to be boys- maybe then they will be girls!!! at least this way I'm not disapointed if they are boys!!
)
His brother's egg has had 1 little pip hole and no progress for a few hours. I'm hoping he will be out in the morning!! These 2 little eggs were about 1/3 being air cell when I candled for lockdown last night. I don't think he would have drown (Peepers was barely wet at hatch out), I am a little worried the membrane is dry though.
Peepers (they will all be called Peepers til they feather out) is still in the bator- I hate to put him in the brooder alone. But will pull him in the morning even if he is the only chick.
I'll get pics in tomorrow or Sat hopefully (have dinner plans tomorrow after work & 6 houses to go through Sat- house hunting is a pain!!!)
