We currently rent, but Brent has to be able to punch in 30 mins or less after a call if he is needed in the OR the days he's on call. (Surgical Tech- not Dr) So we are buying a house near the hospital he just hired in at (about an hour away from here (and MY work!!)
Baby chicks, House hunting, some stupid party I have to go to tonight for Brent's work friend an hour & a half away, son's baseball games & practice (they go into playoffs next week
), dog training in SchH (tracking, OB & bite work training daily, plus weekly sessions at the center), pet sitting on the side- plus work full time (10-12 hr days not uncommon!!)
I don't like down time!!! I have a couple hours a night for me time (computer time), plus between check ins in the morning I can play on the computer!!!
Ahhh, to be young again!! I remember going all the time like that. Now I'm happy to be home with my one son, who will be leaving next year, and my hubby. Oh, and of course...my chickens!
Both of you have such beautiful colors going on. I just did the RIR's this time. I love the blues! I have a beautiful blue Ameraucana that should start laying next month, or first part of Sept. Can hardly wait to see the color of her eggs!
Love the baby pictures...anyone else? Interesting how that magic number 21 comes along...and most of the time, the peeps are here.

So you turned them before incubating? That is interesting. I am starting today with some shipped eggs in the incubator and the turner off. My cells are a little less than perfect so I thought keeping them straight up for a few days might help. Hmmm Interesting ideas...
Fluffy-puffy if u have a power inverter you can use a car bttery to use as a back up power if anything happens again. I use batter back up just to be on the safe side. Good luck on yall's hatches.
