hmmmm...... what should I send? .....I could send some salsa, or maybe some bread and butter pickles,..... or some pear relish, but thats from last fall, but it sure is good........hmmm...... I wonder.

OK, someone HAS to post a recipe for chow chow. My MIL sent a jar home with us once....she bought it from an Amish store. She didnt like it, and at first I was hesitant...but WOW, YUMMY! Now I want to make some for us! Anyone have a recipe they want to share?

Im sure you can google Amish recipes.. there's a few sites. I love my chow chow on salads and sandwiches and just on a fork!!

Looking forward to mine from Pumpkinpup!

My pickling cukes are coming in. I tried with regular cucumbers last year and ...they were good... just not crisp. They tasted more like old-fashioned cucumbers and onions. I have tons of dill seed left. I put in a ton and still it didn't taste really dilly.

Speaking of dilly, did someone say dilly beans

Im prego right now so pickled anything really gets my circuits hot.
