Hahaha wait till you see what comes out of the eggs from those quail. I am sure they will be nothing but the prettiest things ever. They honestly are my passion right now. I have stopped hatching chicks and I am working on my quail because I feel like my chicken flock is very colorful to where I want it for the spring when I hatch and sell again.I love the patterns! You're doing that thing where you make me want quail again! Lol
Wow! Beautiful birds! Here’s what the SSC will look like

We have different waterers, but I really like the horizontal nipple waterers because they stay clean. For the main coop, I also have a self/filling duck waterer, which is super popular. However, I still keep the nipple waterer as a backup and because some birds prefer it. Oklahoma gets hot, so if it’s really hot, I’ll also put out a horse feed tub with electrolyte spiked water and a big chunk of ice. Some chickens will just stand in that tub. I do have some meatbird juveniles that just have the nipple waterers and seem to be doing ok with them, though I’ll also give them water tubs if it’s super hot (>100 F).Thanks for this info. I currently use self filling waterers but I am planning to switch over to nipples. This makes me reconsider.

Honestly... me too! I am always so much like a mom to the eggs! When they pip it’s like mother mode turned on. Last hatching was my first time doing it and I slept beside the incubator just to make sure one of my ducklings made it!I have 4 Biele pips and 3 pips from my flock eggs this morning. One of the Bieles had pipped late last night before I went to bed. Nervous pacing mom behavior has begun.
