Love it!! I've wanted to try that and wondered if the chickens that could potentially hatch would lay the same giant eggs. Look forward to hearing how it goes!Am officially a crazy chicken lady! So we have 6 free eggs coming from a seller that I had really bad luck with the first batch. They’ll be going in the incubator today or tomorrow. I also had a dozen of these eggs from the shop and a few of them looked fertile so I stuck 8 in the incubator. (They are free range and I have heard that this range from Tesco sometimes have roosters in with them). Will see if we even get one developing, let alone a chick, but they all had really good in tact air cells so maybe?! I’m officially crazy.
July is my “nothing to lose” hatch month, with the supermarket and 6 free eggs.
I’d report to eBay. No time for that nonsense. Not everyone is a good seller unfortunately.So I am still waiting on the lady to ship my silkies eggs that I bought off eBay almost 2 weeks ago. Last correspondence with her she said she would ship them either last Saturday or yesterday. Still not shipped and now she is not responding back to me. I just don’t know what to do at this point. I don’t want her to get in trouble but I either want my eggs or my money back.
Well she just finally got back with me and said a few of her girls went broody so she’s been backed up on orders and should ship tomorrow! But we’ll see. I just don’t think you should sell eggs before they are laid! And she had adds all over Facebook too. Lots of people wanting her eggs but you can only send what your girls lay. I just wonder if I’m going to still get the assortment promised.
That to me is bad sales. You never sell product you don’t have!
