Well day 15 and I decided to cull bc we are going on vacation and I didn't want a stink bomb exploding while we were gone- good thing I did, just as I expected no development in 4 out of 6, and the other 2 had 2 tiny embryos that stopped developing (I'm guessing) around day 6.
bumming.
bumming.
What actually stop hatching? Geepers If I had some 1/2 English buff orpington eggs I would set them just as soon as these hatch. My hb is already saying where are you going to put all these chicks. etc. Well, maybe I have gone overboard a bit this yr. But I know that I can get rid of the extras if I try. I have not tried yet. So far the Fav. eggs and the incubator are clocking along. Day 10 will be next Tues. That will be the first real candling day for me. The other one was really to ck for air cell. Although on day 5 I did see a bunch with veining.
