I hatched a few quail today. We are also planning to hatch a few more EEs once their dewormings are done for good.

Awesome, are quail easier to take care than chickens?

Chickens require a lot of work, in that aspect, quail are definitely easier. However they are more prone to feet issues...

Chickens require regular dewormings and also require more work in general. They create a lot more dust than quails do. Quails also eat a lot less and I have heard they are easier to butcher.

I personally like them the same though, they each have pros and cons

3 peeped but didn't make it and I ended up with 21 chicks
No naked necks made it

I just took them outside yesterday to get used to dirt and pebbles I use a wire fence so the older chicks wouldn't bother them. They fell asleep in the afternoon and took them back inside before it rained. Will post later pictures as they start to feather most still have baby feathers.
