June 2023 Hatch-a-long

This seems fun! I currently have 5 lady amherst pheasant eggs set to hatch on June 1st, 12 california quail eggs set to hatch June 2nd, and I have LOADS of Mandarin duck eggs from my ducks
under lots of different sources.

Some mandarins set to hatch in my incubator between may 28th and June 19th (the random hatches come from me taking eggs from my Mandarin hens boxes when they exceeded their clutch capacity). 10 for June 16th (under my white mandarin hen, sadly I did candle hers because this year it didn't look like she had a mate so I was curious, and only 4 or 5 of her eggs were even fertile :(), 10 for June 19th (Mandarin setting on them in my Aviary as well), and 10 under yet another Mandarin in my Aviary. They're all on 10 eggs because their boxes can't really reliably hold more than 10, and mandarins are small and have much better success with smaller quantities.

Hopefully I'll get tons of pictures starting with the first Mandarin ducklings, the baby pheasants, the baby quail, more ducks, and finally once my mama's hatch their babies, adorable bantam sized baby ducklings running around my aviary.

Found a bit of empty space in the incy so popped in a couple celadon quail eggs.

Hi guys! I’ll be hatching in June too! My first hatch since last year :) I picked up seven eggs from a local person. I asked why type they might be and they said they’re all a mix so I’m excited to see what kind of chicks and colors pop out! They should be due around the 15th. :)
