I have pip! Well, only one egg has pipped... but for my first time, I'm pretty excited about just the one. I noticed the hole a couple of hours ago and nothing has changed since then. I know the chick is still alive though because I can watch the hole and see a tiny little beak move in and out of the hole. No cheeping or anything. No rocking, no rolling. Just one lonely ole pipped egg. Honestly, I didn't expect to see even that much until much later tonight or tomorrow morning sometime. So I'm pleased.
For this hatch I'm using the hovabator without egg turner. Even my thermometer/hygrometer batteries died on me a couple days ago so I don't even know where the temp and humidity is sitting at.
The hatch that's due in 3 days are in an LG... without turner. I've been turning manually all along. LOL... makes me feel like I'm more "connected" to my eggs. *Shrugs* Weird concept I guess.
Keep those fingers crossed... there will be no sleep for me tonight I'm sure. Everyone chant with me... hatch chickies hatch chickies
