June Hatch A Long

Pics
Three safety holes, three beaks and definitely alive... I like the chirping to encourage the others but worry about the eggs getting rolled so much they are decently fluffy...

I’ll get their water set up, evacuate the chicks for the night and head for bed... I’m not going to get much sleep either way, but I’ll try.

I’ve got a Brinsea eco glow heat plate, the 20 in my tote brooder.

I’m worried about the pipped ones that haven’t broken their membranes getting kicked around too much.

Should I pierce their membranes before I go to bed? there’s three two started before the two that are out. I have patience (temperament) and anxiety issues (temperament and concerns from my last hatch)

Sometimes they've pipped the membrane and it's just harder to see when it's a slice in the membrane and not a hole. My biggest concern for you is because you were having so many humidity issues and everything seems consistent right now without opening the incubator. It may be best that you wait for the greater good of the rest of the hatch unless you don't feel it's incredibly humid in there tonight. :fl

Yay! My previous response was late but glad to hear the hatch is going so well and with no humidity issues!

Two healthy chicks removed and now under the heat plate, my humidity is at 54% and hopefully:fl rising as I leave... 20 miniut drive home, some shut eye, morning chores and a drive back to the Bator before my minion leaves for school tomorrow at 7 am. Will update then thanks for the support.:bow

Congrats! :woot Drive safe! I look forward to your update but most importantly, get some rest! :th lol

Just a little sneak peek! I couldn't help myself. I didn't have any pictures from my last candling so I checked on just a couple. Goose eggs are getting harder and harder to see through and the new eggs are just starting to show some nice healthy veins! :love

Looking good I have one little duckling that is cheeping away in there very softly. No external pips yet other than my safety holes. Checking every few hours and trying to be patient.

Drive safe and sleep well. Going for my third...fourth... lost count cup of coffee. Eggs still cheeping and rocking but no progress yet. Hubby and hound both still snoring. Sweet dreams.

I read somewhere that is can take up to 3 days for goslings and ducklings to hatch...is that accurate??? Because that's a lot of coffee...lol
