Yes they are all still breathing and chirping. I think chick 12 was chirping a little too much encouragement and that’s why number 13 decided to come out too soon. It was Laid May 13 one of the last few eggs to go be taken for hatching. I culled the chick.
Thank you all for your support the last attempt to escape its yolk and shell that ruptured the yolk also pulled out some intestine and started some bleeding. I know it won’t always be perfect, but I still find culling babies hard. I don’t have the experience to try and fix I sides on the outside of a chick, and couldn’t let it suffer.
