ARG! Totally with you on clumsy fingers. I am hand turning my eggs....and I have already found one crack that I know I made.
Thanks for posting the pic though, I liked seeing it. How old was it, do you know?
I'm not sure. I put them under her on May 20 & 21 but when I candled one week later, the eggs looked more developed (granted the is the first time ever that I've candled so I may not have seen it right examplephotos). They looked like they were at 10-12 days. So based on calendar, it was 9-10 days old; going by what I think I saw on candling, it was 12-14 days; going by photos here, day 8-9.
Hopefully your cracked egg will still develop. My egg was more than just cracked, it was like when trying to open an egg for cooking.
