June Hatch a Long

Lol
Eggs standing upright on point. It moves from back(eggs laying at 45 degree leaning backwards if they are on the point) to middle(eggs upright) to front (eggs leaning forward by 45% angle) to middle to back etc.  I probably sound like a lunatic now, I hope what I have written makes sense.

Day 1 and the lady is already in a panic

Alibabe-I hatch with the same incubator. In my past two successful hatches, I took it off the turner on day 18, and also removed all the dividers so the eggs were laying on their sides. From what I understand, (and I could be totally wrong, I am very new at this), by doing that on day 18 (lockdown day), it allows the chicks to get into position to pip. I also put a layer of paper towels on the bottom to absorb any liquid from the hatching. Once everyone has hatched, I toss the old one and put a new one in until I move them to the brooder. Every one of my eggs pipped on the top of the egg. The only issues I have had is when the chicks come out and start staggering around, they sometimes roll the eggs over on their pips. I have intervened and rolled them back. I also remove the shells once the chicks are out to give them more room to move around. Good luck!

yeah.... see in my signature I first became a member in 10/2009 I think. but when I had to get rid of all my pets and move into an apartment I wasn't logging in here much so I forgot my password lol. anyway.... u understand. lol
Yup don't feel lime the lone ranger

I wanted to raise them because I was told I have to keep them at the same height in the incubator as they've been since I started incubation. And I intended on taking them out of the cartons to let them hatch on the wire, if I did that, theyd be lower.

I made a chicken tractor last year out of an old dog house. Holds about 6 comfortably but I could probably squeeze in 8 if I had to. Looks like I might have to or expand if all the remaining eggs hatch.  You might want to check Craig's to see if someone is giving one away or real cheap. Chicken habitat angst is not a good thing.
update on the broody polak ?
