A good thing I have another pipper down in the bator when I got done outside tonight. I thinking that 1 and 1 other are good, saw great movement in them last nite when I did some candleing just to see if I wasting time. But 2 are super looking. So 3/10 I brought in house I thinking. Others ummmmm not so much. So hoping MIA1 gets a bunch soon. Then I can gnaw on my fingers off waiting for MIA2 for 2-3 weeks and MIA3 in 4 weeks. If the weather holds they could hatch W/O a hen sitting on them

Let cows out into neighbors for breeding. Found a way to jump starter in rider, so now I can mow our 3 ft tall grass (Only in places) and get better shots at preds.... errr see whos coming and whos going. And before I logged on did some reneck repair on ethernet wire our AS chewed in 2. And seems to be working for now.

Just under a week for next lockdown. Hmmm what to do to keep me busy.....

He successfully imprinted on me :D

AHHHHHHHHHHHHH he is darling! I wonder what color he is? I'm really bad at gauging that kind of thing when they're so teeny ^^()

Still no movement from mine yet...I wish the darn thing would hurry up!!!

He's gonna be a beautiful silver drake. Welsh harlequins are so gorgeous. If my quad would just stop laying their eggs in the mud, I'd have no complaints XD

4 eggs in lockdown. One is rocking....I hope the other 3 are alive!

of the 12 eggs I set, only the ones I kept in the fridge are alive, the ones I kept out on the table (pointy side down, temps at 40F) died or didnt develop. How weird is that?!

Congrats to everyone with babies hatching already! I have been AWOL again and missed a LOT of posts... I'll go back once I have had my coffee and try to catch up. :)

My first hatchling is growing like a weed... still no pics since I've been lazy LOL! I have 9 eggs in lockdown now, with one hatched out and 5 more pipped (at least). THEN I have 9 more due within the next week and a half. My second baby (out of the same trio as the little red one) looks like it is going to be a lighter color bird, like both of the "mommies". Excited to see what I get out of that pen.

What's your temp? It's been really mild here. I think we'd be okay. My fertility rate has been excellent, yay! The next 18 they lay are spoken for (perks of having a semi-rare breed) but after that they're all good to go.
85 f - 95 f
i guess it s not that bad
