June Hatch a Long

ok everyone...... I am gonna post this on the june and july hatch a long threads.... I need some advice...... everyone remember the 7 eggs I got from my friend that were already developing??? well at first I thought they were approximately 7 days then when I candled again a few days later they looked a few days older than what I originally guestimated. I keep candling these eggs to try to keep track of their progress and it seems every time I candle they look older than I originally thought. my first estimated hatch date was july 6th then july 4 well I candled them again and I am not sure they will make it that long. the eggs are pretty full... there is not much room in the eggs left for them to grow and I have no clue when I should stop turning and up the humidity.

HELP PLEASE!!!!!!

I would candle every day and watch the air cell. I dont up my humidity untill I find 1 internal pip. Once you see the pip, go into lock down

Great pic!!!

I have 2 hatched so far, and 6 more eggs with little cracks.
So far 2 of them I marked questionable at hatching.
I hope the rest come through, I could have a record hatch for me, we will see!
Congrats,

for a great hatch
Yes that is what it means, wont be long now till they do an external pip.

I think its anywhere in the next 24-48 hours from chirping to pipping. This is only my 3rd hatch since Jan 22 this year & they've all been different.

I meant to thank whoever it was that posted the styrofoam incubator cheat sheet. That is great! I'm in lockdown tomorrow! Weeeeee!

Thanks all, I saw 1 egg moving now no more chirping and no signs of pipping. The next 24 to 48 hours are going to be sooooooo long. I hope they are ok. I want these eggs to hatch so badly.

Congrats to everyone on their hatches progressing. It is so exciting!!!!! I totally cheep to my eggs while I wait for them, especially when I can hear an internal pip cheeping back, or one is rocking a lot. Crazy? Yes, but pretty harmless :)
I am on day 23 of my hatch. 2 eggs left to go, and both showed movement yesterday, but nothing this morning when I candled them :-( I will give them until tomorrow (day 24) then candle again and pip the air cell if nothing shows on the candling to see if there are any signs of life.
The 7 chicks that hatched are doing great! It looks like I got 2 light males, 2 dark males, and 3 females, so I finally have some Cream Legbar pullets. Yay! MIC is doing great, and can't really tell him (yes, she's a him!) from the rest development or activity-wise. Tough little guy!
