I don't think it's good. I chipped away at the shell, membrane was still intact. I used the flashlight on the top to see if there was a vessel nearby, and opened the membrane with the tweezers. No blood, but no movement either. I still can't find its beak either. I put it inside the incubator after giving it a spritz.

You did great! That’s all you can do. Give it time and see what happens.

Very good! :thumbsup Looks like the beak right on the inside. If it's not it might have moved inside the egg after it pipped. Not to worry now that you've opened the membrane. As for the lack of movement... A bit concerning, but it could be resting. Let's hope he's still with us! :fl

I couldn't help myself. I went back in. The yellow spot was its beak. I made the hole a little bigger. No blood, but I don't see movement either.
