OEGBs are our favourites (even DH likes them). They are smart, full of character, friendly and sweet if handled as chicks (and so patient with our children handling them). And so tiny. 🥰

I have to agree with @JaeG. Silver Duck Wing OEGBs are my hands down favorites. Mine are all pets, all 10 roosters and 3 hens. No, that isn't the ratio, just the number I have in my flock. I also have BBR OEGBs and yep, they are also favorites of mine.

Tied with the SDW OEGBs are my Egyptian Fayoumis. These are not cuddly birds but they are amazing. The roosters do not fight a lot, the hens are pretty and don't lay heavy or go broody at the drop of an egg. PLUS,the big thing in their favor is that they are resistant to a lot of chicken maladies, the most important being Marek's disease.

Yay Team OEGB! Good to hear you like Egyptian Fayoumis. We have two five week old Fayoumi chicks and they only hang out with each other in a flock of twelve. And they avoid humans at all costs.

That's pretty typical as far as how my Fayoumis act. They will accept treats from my hand but it's with them watching me warily.

I started with 4 pullets and a cockerel but lost a hen this spring but hatched two full blooded chicks last month that are just now 8 weeks old and one half Fayoumi chick from the same hatching. Two cockerels and a pullet. I am making it a point to handle them as much as possible so they aren't as skittish....hopefully.
