One time my ex husband punched me in the face.

No, he was not ever violent, but he did have sleep apnea and on the rare occasion that he could get into a deep state of sleep, he'd be really out of it. One night he was asleep, snoring loudly, and I was awake sitting up in bed reading. He suddenly jerked himself up, looked at me with glazed eyes and punched me in the face and turned over all annoyed. Needless to say I started crying from the pain and he woke up and was confused to see me sitting there with a bloody nose. I said, "You just punched me in the bleeping face!" I'm laughing now retelling it, but he was mortified. He kept saying "Are you sure?" I'm like, "Yep, pretty sure, I was the one awake for it".

I've done it. No sleep apnea, but I have alot of pain meds that put me in pretty deep. Last month I dreamed I was smacking at a bug, and *slap* right onto his stomach. Last winter I'd kicked off my blankets, and he was trying to tuck them back around me, I rolled over said "keep your %#$^&* blankets, and punched him, while still snoring.

Same here. However we rearrange, he always sleeps closest to the door.

Mine sleeps closest to the closet (after he shoves me from my center diagonal position) because that is where the closet monsters live.

My closet monsters are FRIENDLY monsters. (It is the intruders I worry about.)
They have parties and sleepovers. One year I even sent them to camp.

I have a king sized bed all to myself

I sleep on the left side of the bed which is really weird because it is also furtherest from the bathroom ensuite. I sleep on my right side because my left shoulder hurts otherwise and my Jack Russell sleeps where ever she wants...usually pressed into my back so I cant roll over. How is it that a 20lb dog can feel like a hundred lbs when you are trying to get your tiny peice of blanket back???

I sleep on the left, closest to the door and most of the guns. Terra used to sleep on the right closest to the bathroom. What is it with women having to go to the bathroom a gaziollion times a night anyway?

Now Terra sleeps in the living room in her recliner because of her COPD. She can't sleep laying down because she can't breathe. Been that way for a while and I still haven't gotten used to it.

Also she has this silly idea that I snore. I'm sure I don't. I stayed awake all night once to see, never snored once.

I've been annoying DH by curling up against his back and letting Minotauro and Minotoro kick him also. Not painful to him, but he wakes up with every kick. I have to suffer, so does he. Fair is fair. He does get up with the kids at night however.

I sleep very light, roll alot while trying to sleep, have a fan & AC directly on me while DW freezes, & when I do sleep, snore like a freight train, have sleep apnea & gasp for a breath, have a dog between the pillows, & one under the covers by our feet. DW STILL sleeps in there. Some things are just a mystery!
