I have several Muscovies with bumblefoot. I've been treating with drawing salve and wraps but have not seen any improvement. Tried surgery and it was not effective so we took one of our worst drakes to the vet. $300 later and she put him on antibiotics and painkillers. She says she can't give me medical advice on the other ducks unless I bring them in and pay for all that extra nonsense. So, what are alternative antibiotics I can be giving to the others? I have Tylan but understand that's more for respiratory issues. Help!!

First, get rid of the reason for the bumblefoot. No amount of treatment is going to work until that's done. Where are they jumping down from? Is the coop door too high? Are they being allowed perches? Drakes are too heavy to perch but try to anyways. Perches should be high enough that the hens can get up and the drakes can't.
