These little water birds called Moorhens I have seen before, but something cool I was watching that I did not know is the mom actually finds food and is just constantly putting it into the chicks mouths.

Also here are just a lot of pictures I took while there. I brought a photographer friend and she took lots of pictures so I will make a separate thread to share those once she edits them and sends them to me.

This park was crazy
The swans were owned by the park and there were sooooo many.. they had the mother swans with their babies in enclosed areas on the lake, and total there were probably about 70ish? Swans mostly mute swans and black swans. There were about a dozen pairs of wood ducks and probably 50-60 dumped domestic ducks mostly Pekin, almost all of the females had signs of overmating one in particular was very beaten up I think it might have been the one somebody else posted on here about. Also there were like 20 great blue herons so used to being fed by people that that just walk up to you.

Yesterday when I went to the park momma duck only had 4 babies, I did a walk around the pond to see if I could find #5, and when I didn't I thought for sure it got picked off by something.
Today I went there and he managed to find his way back to them!!

I recently noticed that my first broody attack duck video of Penguin made its way up to 45k views on YouTube, she is broody again this morning so I felt the need to make another!!

Not cute ducks, but very cute! These little guys hatched a few days ago, and there are 2 more peahens that have been laying on eggs for awhile.
