They are so sweet! My ducks eat regular grass, I wonder if they would like wheatgrass more?

My scovies treat the Wheatgrass like it's a treat, if I just cut off a little bit in my hand they run up and eat it out of my hand, and pick up all the strands that fell onto the ground ground ear them too. Wheatgrass is super duper easy to grow so worth a shot to see if they like it more

Okay this was very abnormal behavior from Puffin so I had to share! She usually doesn't really like being pet much at all, but today she saw me giving Penguin her massage and decided that she also wanted a massage!! She came right up and laid down in front of me and I was just petting her for like 20 minutes until she decided to get up and walk away.

Last time she let me pet her like that was before she flew away and lived in the wild for 6 months

Good morning from me and my ducks!

Since I keep the ducks in 2 separate coops, they are always very excited to see each other in the morning and do this as soon as I let them out

I am very confused about her sudden change in behavior, but definitely not complaining!! It's like overnight she just decided she wants to be a dog, I was sitting out there for over 30 minutes just like in this video and the entire time she just sat there getting pet and being cute! She even let me pick her up to bring her up into my lap for snuggles and she did not even resist with the usual flailing feet that ducks do when you pick them up . She just sat there like a sweetheart, I suppose now I should start saying 3/4 of my muscovies are puppy dog tame.

I just came outside and Penguin was wearing a necklace

I think its likely a piece of a rabbit chew toy that made it into my compost pile
Shes rocking it! I think she feels extra beautiful now
