He is really guarding that sand box. Sure that he is not broody, too????Well... Ellen the silkie went broody, AGAIN!So, I decided to give her 10 of the 16 guinea eggs... the other 6 are still with the broody guinea hen.
Okay, so what about the Orpington?! Well I gave her 3 silkie eggs and an Ameraucana egg to set on. If she quits, well, I have an incubator.

So, our confirmed male quail decided he was big and strong so puffed up at me and was all around angry... until he realized I was a giant compared to him.
