actually I think it's my gmail being its usual pain in the backside. It'll get a wild hair and dump important emails from friends and thread notifications in my trash file. It will do it even if I 'star' them as being important, as I discovered when it dumped an old friend's correspondence in the trash after I 'starred' it. I finally had to create a 'filter' for her letters. Stopped the problem.If you don't click on the first alert notification for a particular thread to 'clear' it you will never get another alert for that thread.
If you want to continue getting alerts check them often.
Usually I check the trash to see who they deem unworthy of my attention daily but didn't get it checked yesterday having been gone much of the day. Just got around to it today.
Guess I'll have to create a filter for BYC if it keeps doing it. I switched over to gmail when our IT people told me that it was the most 'secure' email around. My front office computer had gotten hit by some virus when I had yahoo mail and that was when they had me switch over. .....yeah, one of the perks of being office manager.
But it's so secure it's a pain at times.
