What breed is it?

My brahma mixes are so cool. I hope I vent sexed one of them wrong and they're both pullets!

It’s an Easter Egger!!

At first the other day, I thought it had some horrible eye deformity or something cause I couldn’t see an eye!! Picked it up so scared!! Turns out the muffs and beard fluff was just in his eye :lau

Poor thing’s got a crazy hairdo LOL

And aww I hope they’re pullets!!

I really wish I was closer because I would want that Lav Orp and pay you for it!!!!

I wouldn't even care if it was a cockerel, I'd make it its own flock with my chicks!

Aw I wish you were closer too!!!

You need to get some Lav Orps LOL

It's so dang pretty!!!!! It stands out compared to all the others to me. It makes my jaw drop at how stunning just a little chick can be

Right!? Such a pretty chick. :love

I really need to get one or a couple!

I'm honestly thinking about getting just lav orp eggs and having a flock of those with the ducks. I only want pullets, but I'm sure I could sell the others at the chicken swap.

Did I tell you that on December 15th we are actually thinking about taking some of our chicks to the chicken swap and seeing if we can sell some.

Do it!!! That would be so awesome!! They sell Lav Orp chicks too but they’re pretty expensive. Eggs are a much better idea. :D

And I think you mentioned something about it briefly on another thread but didn’t hear much. That’s awesome!!

Yeah we are thinking about bringing maybe about 10 of them or so and selling them a straight run. They're very pretty chicks.

The new chicks we aren't selling though. I want to see which ones are pullets.

I think that’s a good idea!!!

And that makes sense!!
I don't even know how much to sell them for. I was thinking $3 a chick.

I need to get pics of the parents so that I can show people what size they can get. I know they'll be no smaller than the mother and no bigger than the father. But squatch is a big boy so I don't want people thinking they're getting a tiny chicken.

Sorry, just saw that. That seems pretty good but then again they’re pretty old and large now right? And you’ve put a lot of time and money into them. So you could probably even go $5-$10 a bird. Not like they’re getting tiny day old chicks you’ve put no effort or money into. They’re pretty grown now so I think you should charge accordingly. Though you don’t want to charge too much and deter people and they are mixed but I still think at least $5 is fair.

And that’s a good idea!! Though I’m sure they won’t think that when they see the chicks. :lau

I know what they are mixed with so that might help me out too.
