Kentuckiana Chickenstock/Milton Fall Swap Meet

At Milton, poeple start setting up Friday and some get there early Saturday. It's around $20.00 to set up. If you want shade, the earlier the better.

Does anyone need any extra bantam males? I have some red pyle modern game, black and white cochins, black d'anvers, partridge silkies, and blue wheaten ameraucana. All are pet quality.

The pictures really don't do them justice. I had a bunch of red cedar on hand and decided to use it up on these and they look really good.

Those are very nice Sugarbush...what size are they and do you have any idea what price you are putting on them?

Those are 3x5. Big enough for 5-6 birds. I am getting 300.00 each for them. I had a company call me about a month ago and want 20 for resale . I turned them down because I like the one on one contact I have with the people I usually sell to and I don't want to stray into mass production.

Love the look of the red cedar boards...I have always heard that you should never use cedar shavings in your chicken house because it give the chickens respitory problems, I like to mix red cedar shavings in with pine shavings for my chicken houses to keep the mites down (its a known fact that red cedar keeps the bugs away) and I have never had a problem.

Depending how this week goes I may see you at Milton, but I doubt my wife will let me spend her "I want to buy some geese money" on another cool chicken house. Anyway its always nice to meet fellow Kentucky poulty people so I will try to make it, besides I have 3-4 pairs of butterscotch call ducks I need to sell.
