We just use zip ties. They r awesome. U can get a multicolored pack or all the same. And cheap at Walmart.

Oh I have mixed up messed up chickens. I breed more for egg color...working on olive eggs. I have an OE (supposedly) roo and marans roo over several different hens. I like rainbow eggs. :0) I hatch out my own and I have barnies, marans and orps in the bator now that I purchased. I have some Cochin eggs on the way too. I do raise pure ancona ducks so I have stuck with one duck breed. :0)

I was given 12 hens last September but since we are new to chicken raising we have just relized the are game hen. We have decided to expand our flock do I am going for the same rainbow egg idea. I have 2 girls that just went broody. I don't have a roo so I have been trying to find some hatching eggs locally but haven't been able to.

I am in Nicholas county my hens are a few different breeds but I have some hatching eggs though
