Welcome, great to see someone finally post on this KY thread...I was wondering where everyone went?!

Hiya! I'm here in KY, right on the southwestern KY/TN border, not too far from Ft. Campbell.

I joined BYC mere days prior to getting our first 8 chickies, and I would pop my head into the KY thread... but yeah, it seems like not too many participants from KY here.

We currently have a flock of 13; 11 layers and 2 dual purpose. I know we have Asia blacks, leghorns and tetra browns...... but 3... well, we have no clue. In about 2 weeks, we will be getting in about 15 straight run Toads, from an NPIP breeder here on BYC.

So, anyone else around?

I don't live by Fort Campbell but I am at the base Twice a week

Yes, sometimes I am there everyday, it just depends on what I'm up to. My husband retired from the fire department in Chicago in December and we moved back home in January. I grew up here.

I have actually thought about bringing my Pigget he's a runner to work with me some. I do bring him to the nursing home and hospital here some and it really cheers the Vets up that we go see.
