The subway in Walmart has good food (unlike the one by IGA - YUCK!!)

We have -

McDonalds, Taco Bell, Long John Silvers, Dairy Queen (I was not impressed at all by this place, either, though), Wendy's, Sonic (not that impressive, either, and it is all "car" no indoor sitting). There are a couple of country stores out by me with decent food, if ya wanted to go that route. Oh, and we have a chinese place (Tray's) in town that isn't too bad, they have a buffet.

My votes would be for... Taco Bell, Long John Silvers, or Tray's - but I leave it up to you all.

Meri~~ You don't want those two japs anymore? I'll take them back if you don't, that's no problem. Cindy still has one girl though, right? I think I saw that in her siggy? Maybe she would want them, then I can just get eggs from her.

Day&Day has those small metal chick feeders that don't have the bottle thing on them. maybe you could get one or two of those? That way if they climb on it, they won't knock it to kingdom come!

Oh, and I've thought about putting stakes around them, but they need to be moved often, so I don't know how much of a pain that would be? The only one, right now anyway, that there is a problem with is the one with all the roos in it. The other two are not a problem. One is totally closed, and the other is pretty much open, so the wind has nothing to catch on.

We let that silkie out again today, he walked around the tractor and is right back inside. Poor guy! I guess he thinks it's safer in there! Need to go and close him back up.

There's also a Fred's in Russell Springs. So they should have those tarps there, right? I need to do something. Some of the 'babies' in the brooder box on the porch are crowing, and have been for a month!!

Jump in your car and come on down!! You'll get here by supper...lol...We'll do lunch in a couple of weeks when I go up to get the chickies. I ought to take Meri and Shelley with me too, and Croney and estpr can meet us by the interstate and follow us up. Fr can come across the parkway...I'm such a good planner huh...

Our luck we'd have 6" of snow on the ground at that time.



Russell Springs may be cutting it close for you Meri...I can go pick up Shelley first then we can meet at one of the above places you mentioned. I'll have to carry the box off eggs in with me so the pad stays warm. I'll stop at DG before I leave also and see if they still have those throw away heated pads. They last quite a while.
