Hey all! Did anybody see the post I made? We are #1 in posts counts EVER on BYC!!!

Boy is it cold out there! I had to go to town and get some swap eggs. The guineas were not coming out of the building yesterday, I guess they didn't like the snow. So I still haven't totally cleaned my coat off where they bombed me! So all I had was my hooded sweatshirt. BRRRR!!

Other than that, everything is good here. My brother called from TX last night to see if we had frozen to death yet. He said with the way the TV showed the weather, he thought we had a pretty bad storm. Not here! Almost all rain! Had a little bit of ice day before yesterday, then snow yesterday, but most of it has melted off already.

Dumpling is very happy with her new millie boyfriend. She doesn't talk anywhere near as much as she did before! I guess she doesn't have to talk to herself anymore, so she is happy

Ok, well anyone else want to pipe in?

I am so excited about the duckies coming

I woke up this morning dreaming I had to go pick them up at the hatchery - in TEXAS - and I had to drive all that way..... I'm glad I called them to fix the order - I would have been bummed if they didn't show and I hadn't called on them.

Well, gonna go check eggs and then take Jon in, I'll be back later.

Dad said to tell you there are only 2 males, so if you want one you'd better come get it fast!!

The spotted one in the front is a girl, kinda looks like Midget

I think we might keep that one, though dad doesn't know yet!

Though I don't know what I need another beagle for! Cris doesn't even mess with Midget anymore, poor baby! Once they are past the cute puppy stage he's tired of them.​

Hey guys. Made it to work tonight. I was lucky to be off the days that it was so bad. We only lost electric for a couple of hours Tuesday. I thought we had some snow and ice until I came to Danville tonight. The closer I got the more icy everything was. Boyle Co is in a state of emergency and they have shut down the schools and all of the plants but RRDonnelley. Which is were I work. Apparently they refused to shut down. The water plant is working on limited water supplies which is the reason for the emergency. I am not sure. But RRD says they use their own water supplies. Yeah whatever. But I am glad because I will still get a paycheck. Most of Danville doesnt even have electric.
But most of my animals are fine. I lost 1 of my goat babies that was born at Christmas. I dont know if it got mashed or what. It had been doing great and was growing. I keep all of the momas and babies together, so I moved them to a bigger stall with the other does. I moved my buck with the mini horse to the other side. So know I have a bruised and swollen knee where the buck got me. I had him on a lead and he rammed my knee into the wall. He is just mean when you want to handle him. I am going to sell him soon. I hope someone eats him.

Well she has 8 or 9 of them there is a red rooster and buff hen, a partridge hen, 2 or 3 splash and 2 black or blue! they are hattrick lines $125 for all of them so what ever that is split between me and who ever else wants them!
