I was thinking of going to Cindy's monday too - maybe I'll get to meet ya. What time were you going to be there? I still have to call Cindy to set it up, I told her I would, I just wasn't sure if Jon would have Monday off - but he usually does have it off.

What the heck, I'll call her later and tell her I'm coming monday, and Bruce can take Jon to work for me if I aint back in time.

you can come, just means I'll have to leave a little earlier. Hubby is whining, so hopefully Jon won't have to work, or I'll have to go and pick up duckies and come home so I can take Jon to work. (Hubby doesn't want to have to put air in his car tires... boohoo.... Poor baby

But, like I said, Jon hasn't worked a Monday since the first week he started there, so I doubt he'll have to go in that day.

So far still just the two chicks and one pip. I moved the first hatched chick into the bator with the newly hatched chick - more room in there, and they can be together that way. The newly hatched chick was crying something fierce. He is much happier now.

I am hoping more of my eggs hatch. It's been a weird time incubating this one - temps kept fluctuating, and the humidity won't stay up higher now.

gggrrrrrr

Wow!! That's a lot of eggs!!!

Oh, and the quail don't like to be held like loved-on type of holding, but they are not wild. Plus if one does get out, all you have to do is walk over to it and pick it up. They don't fly too much. I have only had 2 try to fly away when they got out. The toilet incident that I told you about, and one other time. Usually they act like they think they are invisible and just stand in a corner somewhere! They are pretty tame though, my little boy was constantly playing with them!

Put some wet paper towels in there, you'd be amazed how fast the humidity will come up!
