did your goats ever have babies?????
Had to gather the grow out pens of chicks and put them all in the shed before the FLOODS!!!!!
I hate all this rain. Everything gets wet!

Well, final count on the hatch is 15 live hatches - one got shrink wrapped after pip, and the other four I didn't think were any good anyway, so I didn't count on them hatching (and they didn't) I mostly left them in to hold things steady.

now I have 5 bantam barred rock eggs to hatch out saturday or so.
I already have those ones in the hatcher though

so no scrambling and messing up the hatch.

overall, in spite of me screwing up on the hatch date and leaving them in the turner until pipping

I had a great hatch on these. Gives me hope for those bantam eggs from Rick.

Been away for a while.... good to see neighbors still going strong.
I have some birds I need to get rid of before winter arrives. Hope this is ok to post on this KY topic....
Trio of Black Jersey Giants.... year old hen and 8 month pullet. Roo is a year old. Gentle and huge. Dad is going all bantams and wants $50 for the trio.

Black silkie roo, Spangled hamburg roo, black cochin bantam hen, all for $10 each.

Two WFblack spanish bantam hens about 6 months old for $5 each.

email me at [email protected] if interested.
Should have lots of bantam cochins in cool colors this spring!

Mrs Turbo... Still no babies.... I think Ella is waiting for the other does before she drops.... She's letting the twins (8mth old) suckle so her udder is not as full as it should be... Spoil Rotten babies, still wanting Mamma's milk....

If Ella gets any fatter she's going to explode... I neutered my buck in April three times so she should have been due in Sept... Can't think that he still had anything in May.... but who knows.... Stranger things have happened....
