Kentucky people

Hey all just popping in to day HI

Haven't lost any more birds outside except one older pigeon, but the chickens are doing okay. I also lost my oldest doe rabbit to this crazy weather. Gonna have to replace her come spring time. I did lose another parakeet though. No reson for it to be dead, must have got scared during the night and flew into the side of the cage and broke it's neck. Snow wasn't to bad up here in the Ville, and it's already starting to melt and go away!

I already bought my seeds to start the garden and am making plans to redesign the backyard for the new coop and run, garden, patio area and maybe some outdoor flights for the doves and keets. Just need a bigger backyard area!

Hey chuck long time! A LOT has happened since you were on last. Meri quit, can't remember how far back. Shelley got banned( can't figure out that one), and Hubby is letting me get more girlys and a Wellie roo from Shelley. Plus I may be getting a marans pullet or two from someone else. So in all I will have 12-14 girls and a roo for flock protection. Woohoo!!!

Cindy,

I've been following along and saw where Shelley got banned and the Empress quit as well. Congrats on getting some more girls and a roo. Just been busy around here with school and church and work. Nice snow woman too.

Good morning folks! Has anyone visited Bobs Hay Barn in Shelbyville? They posted on CL that they're having a chicken swap this Saturday starting at noon, and I was wondering whether it'd be worth the 45 minute drive...?

Must Stay Away From TSC...

I'm still bummed they closed the ky traders link. The auction page byc has for chicks is one measely (sp?) page long. Heck, we ky folks had that much posted in a single day! I guess I'm off to craigslist to see what the locals have for sell...

I'm thinking about selling my baby chickies (that I hatch out) $1.00 each... as of right now they will more than likely be mixed... well my buffs my be pure cause our 2 roosters are buffs (we do have a OEGB roo but his girls are our 2 EE and 2 bantams, our buff roos dont let him get with the buff hens or our 3 RIR).

What would you all sell yours for? Trying to figure all this out.
