Thanks Cindy, I really need it!! I wish I had the $ to get some more buttons!! I only have 1 button chick that's with the 2 A&M's right now. The A&M's are twice as big as the button already, so they will need to be seperated before long! Poor baby!

There's a guy out here up in Eubank that raises and sells quail(I think it's the button quail). He is a BYCer also but doesn't post much. I used to work with his dad at Lowes. Want me to see if he has eggs for sale if I find one of his old posts?

Yeah I saw that! I like watching it when it's on TV, they cut the really creepy stuff out! Like the old lady in the tub scene....OOOOO!! Gives me the chills!!

the old lady in the tub was the worst scene of the whole movie - so nasty, but ya just can't look away.

I can see how it would freak someone out, though.

I haven't seen the remake, ya just can't have that movie without Jack Nicholson.

I'm not sure if I have seen the remake. I just like watching it when they cut out the really creepy stuff! Have you ever seen the original Exorcist? The uncut version? I used to watch the first version all the time. I had gotten to where I knew when to hide my eyes (

), then they came out with the director's cut. The scene when she comes down the stairs on her back but on her hands and feet (if that makes sense!) just freaked me out so bad I had to shut it off!!

Checked the weather - it's supposed to warm back up to 67 during the day and only down to mid 50's at night after this cold snap, so I hope it'll hold that for awhile. It's gonna be 25 degrees tonight!! Only 37 or so out there, now.

OMG! Sammy is asking me to cut his hair!!! I'll do it tomorrow, though, too tired tonight. The cut he is describing is simply horrid sounding, but heck, I'm just glad I get to cut his hair.

You two never got to see Sam, did you? LOL I'll have to take a before and after pic - he hasn't had a haircut in three years. I don't mind the long hair, as long as he keeps it back out of his face - when he works with us, I make him put it into a pony tail. His hair is almost as long as mine, but it is curlier towards the ends. (and thicker - I had thick hair when I was young, too - not anymore.)

So, anyway, chicks.... I figure I'll keep them inside for at least a week - maybe two or three, then I'll stick them out into the coop. I'll just see how it goes. If it warms up during the day, maybe I'll put them out in the day and bring them back in at night.

I love the Exorcist, and the original Omen, too (the remake sucks, IMO).

Oh, and I have a movie called Possessed - it is about the original case the Exorcist is based on (has a boy instead of a girl, is sort of interesting - different from the Exorcist).

I was watching Paranormal State last night and they did an exorcism. Not sure what to think of that show. Some of the stuff is believable, and some of it is just WAY out there.

I have a few really good horror movies. We'll have to have a horror movie day or something (if we ever have a day without kids and other distractions, LOL).

My favorite horror movies involve the Catholic Church,

Color me weird, but the Catholic Church is scary. Not the parishoners, mind you - the Hierarchy. Maybe that's why I like the Omen so much

It was just that reall super thin ice sheen on top, the kind where if ya blow on it it cracks. But still - ice, bbbrrrrrrrrr.

Good luck on the hatch!! I am thinking I might have to get a turner,
lau.gif
It's not that I don't have time to turn, or that I don't want to turn, it is remembering to turn. I figure, though, that the hen doesn't keep her watch set to turn at a certain time, so if I miss by an hour or so, then no biggie (hopefully). I'm trying not to be too particular about it.

Peace -

The new Omen is pretty good. I'll tell you one movie that will scare your pants off! That's 'The Grudge'. That one is really creepy! Cristian just loves watching it!

I kind of wonder about Paranormal State as well. It doesn't really seem like they ever really figure anything out. Or Ghost Hunters for that matter, I like that one, and it seems more believeable. But it still is kind of fake. One show that I love and hate at the same time is MonsterQuest. They are always looking for Bigfoot, or Nessie, or chupacabra, things like that, but they never find anything!! So aggravating! I KNOW they're there!!!

I was 6 years old when my sister made me sit and watch Dracula with her (the one with Frank Langella) I was so scared I wouldn't go to the bathroom by myself. She made me anyway - wench!! At this point, not much scares me anymore,

We used to sneak downstairs to watch horror movies on Friday nights after we were supposed to be in bed.

The horror movies that scare me most are the psychological ones. The ones that aren't really bloody monsters - but the kind that freak you out mentally.

I have a hard time finding horror movies that scare me anymore

kind of a bummer, actually.

Horror books, too. Although, when I was 20 or so (and had my first apartment) I read Harvest Home - and slept with the light on for two nights.
lau.gif
Now, the movie they made out of that book was the worst!! But the book is scary - mostly because it's about "regular" type people, being aberrant. (psychological thing again, LOL) I could imagine my neighbors acting like that
