Is it Spring yet???? Brrrr!!!!! I don't recall anything like the weather we've had this winter!

i know how you feel i have to walk to 4 pens to feed pack out 8 gallons of water and i freeze any one want to come and water and feed for me until spring

IKR! I have to refill water 2-3 times a day! Its awful!

Pet Smart sells a Paddle heater for aquariums that uses 7watts. sits on bottom of bucket, worked fine for my water buckets with nipple waters in New England. TSC carries an thermo block cube that turns the power on at 35 degrees (?) and off at 40.

I use a heated dog bowl when it gets this cold. It seems to work well.

me too, no problems with it, i get a little ice on the coldest days, but generally none, seems safe to me

yes me too. It's been lifesaver for sure. I feel sorry for them right now but they seem to be fairing well in this cold.

Cold, very cold over here in the mountains. -2° without windchill this morning and we have had one -30° windchill night already. Got a rooster with frostbite right now.

I'll have to get something for next winter. I haven't been anywhere to get anything yet this year. Just been too busy to get out of town, & we have NOTHING where I live. Not even a real Walmart. Lol
