I want Muscovy ducklings (I want Blue Swedish, too, but I doubt I'll find those there). I'd love some black and white muscovies, though - or colored ones, not white if I can help it.

I plan on buying a cage or two, but I want the double ones that old guy makes - I hope he's there with one or two of them. I'll find cages myself, when I get there, (or hubby will, he knows what I need - sizes and such). But if ya see any 'scovy ducklings, that aren't expensive (4 bucks or less) I'll take some. Up to 4 of them.

thanks -
meri

We are hoping for around 3:30 ish, so we can 'set-up' in the drive and try to sell my roos there. They have been bringing pretty decent amounts though lately, for roos anyway, so if I miss that I should do pretty well anyway.

Hey Shelley, not sure I told ya this (not sure ya want to hear it

) Last time I went I sold those blue splash girls (5 of them) for 25 bucks!! I hope I get folks who like to spend money this time, I have another 7 chickens to bring along with me.

Oh, are ya bringing Cristian? cause Flip and Roscoe will be there

I really like my brahmas. Probably better than my cochins. I got 4 little white brahmas this week and I believe they are all hens. Then I have 6 buff brahma hens with 1 roo. I actually wouldn't mind having more of either of them. They are my new favorite. I wish I could go to Sano tomorrow. My wish list is pretty simple. More brahmas and silkie hens. I need to find a white brahma roo. But he would have to be young because my white hens are just 3-4 months old.

Well better get to work.

I have 7 light brahma hens and a delaware roo over them - got eggs in the bator, if ya want a mix, I can let you know what hatches out of them. I have other eggs in there, too, so I'd have to sort out those ones, but they ought to be easy to tell, they are the only "whitish" chickens I have. Eggs are due to hatch 31st of January.

I like the brahma hens, too - they are funny. I named one of them Eleanor, because she thinks she's the queen, and it seemed to be a "Queenly" name.

I do have a spare Delaware roo I was gonna take to the auction tomorrow night (Sano). He's pretty, and big - if you want him, I can hold onto him until next friday to take if you want to meet me at Sano next friday. I just bought him (about three weeks ago) off of Bluedog420, actually, but he doesn't get on well with my other roo - they immediately had a huge throwdown, so I will have to wait on a roo for the new girls when they get old enough to lay. (I've ordered some delaware pullets from Cackle).

Let me know if ya want him, or want to see pics of the chicks when they hatch. I'm thinking Delaware over Brahma should be nice looking birds - but maybe not with feathered feet.

I think I would rather have a pure brahma. I am trying to stay away from mixing so that if I sell any I know they are 100% brahma. I dont know if that really matters though. But thanks for the offer.

Tubby Chicken has a buff Brahma roo that she is passing on to me, but if he starts crowing loudly I probably won't be able to keep him. (I'm hoping I might get lucky and have one of those fabled quiet roosters...) If you're interested in a buff colored one let me know!

I posted this chick in the breeds and gender section, but I wanted to share it here...my husband won't stop making fun of the poor thing.

It was cute just the other day, but today I went out and it flew into my arms looking like...that. Feathers sprouting from the sides of the face and all!

And yes Cris will be there, I'll make sure to not let him see you! But he saw them at your house before and didn't act interested, so I should be safe!

Are these Bantam or FS Brahma you are looking to get a male of? I can look for one for you tomorrow if you'd like.

Tyler, sorry to hear about your Mallards. Hopefully you will be able to replace them if you want soon.

That's so sad! What happened to them? Did I miss the post somewhere?
