Meri,

thanks for the info on the property, and the location. That would be so cool if I can swing the deal. I would like to get both places as they are right next to each other I suppose. They have pictures of both the properties on the Kijiji Louisville site under the Real Estate for sale section. The second property for $45, 000.00 has the barn, a doublewide they were working on, another trailer, and another mobile. If you feel like it and get the chance let me know what you think.

If I have time one day this weekend or this next week, I can drive out past them and see what they look like in person - and see how far off the road they are, etc.... Not sure about you, but that is a big consideration for me, I don't want a house that sits right on the road.

I know the boys said the creek that runs down that road always has water ion it, so that's a good thing. A couple of my neighbors have excellent springs (year round). Our spring is usually year round, except the first year we moved in it was dry - it was the year we had over 100 degree weather for so long, though. The problem with our spring is that it is so hard to get to - it's at the bottom of a HUGE hill and comes up just inside the woods.

To bad it isn't closer - would make it easier to put a pond in.

The "boy" silver might be a blue face, definately more bluish than the "girl" silver. The girl silver is more of a white or ivory color down her face and front.

I know the first one is a boy, and the wild and the one silver are girls. I still think the other silver is a male. I'll be back after I find out.​

I still haven't gotten a definite answer on the vent thing. I know that only male buttons get red or pink vent feathers, but I don't know if all males do. The jury is still out on that one! Does that one silver with the bright bib have red or pink feathers anywhere on its belly? Or its breast? It doesn't look like it does on the breast, but it's hard to tell with the vent feathers.

I just rechecked your pics, and that silver does look like its belly is pink, so I would say you have 2 boys, and one girl just dropped one too soon. If you found it this morning, it was probably laid during the night, and something scared her to make her lay early. Got a pm, so hope it's from the button experts!

Thanks again Meri, the bathroom picture I think belongs to the farmhouse property. The other property has all the trailers and the barn on it. According to the ad, the barn was used as a shop, plus it was updated with electric.

He said he was a kid around 5'0", but I was thinking like 15, 16 at least! He is soooo cute, I just wanted to kidnap him! Very nice boy too!

yeah, I tried to check the silver male and it was hard to tell if he had a pinkish or reddish underbelly - if it is, it is really faint. He is smaller than the two that I know are female.

You need to just grab him and turn him over so you can see! It does look pinkish in the pics though. I would say it is 2 of each, but idk for sure. Jury is still out on it.

Maybe I was looking at something else on there, it was some ancient looking board flooring that didn't quite cover - might have been the barn loft, though, and that would make sense if it was a bit less than perfect. As long as the main floor of the barn is in good shape.
