cool - once I get some room in the chicken bator, I'm gonna try to put in a coupel of quail racks and do some jumbo eggs. Once the quail racks are in, I can toss in some button eggs, too.

If the bator ever gets empty enough to turn it off for 5 minutes to switch racks

The jumbo eggs will fit into the chicken egg turners. You can also put 3 button eggs in one chicken egg cup, just put paper towel or cotton in the bottom of the cup, one egg in the middle and one on each side.

I may try that - I was just laying them on their sides in the open crevice by the turner motor before - that doesn't work, btw

Nah, they would be too low in the bator and have a different temp if they were there!

But the jumbos eggs will for sure fit in the chicken turner. I saw some quail racks on ebay, but you did get some didn't you?

Yeah, I had Julie order me some - 13.95 through Day & Day

cheaper than on ebay

Yeah, I thought I remembered you saying that you had gotten some. If you ever get your bator empty long enough, you could always put like 1 or 2 quail racks in there, and wouldn't need to have the whole thing just for quail eggs.

Mojo Chick'n :

That truck is pretty spiffy looking for being 10 years old, eh?

They make them different now. My car is 12 years old, and still looks good! It needs a paint job, but once that is done it will look brand new! Too bad that truck is a Ford...
