So a little bit late for dinner tonight..... Eating since ~11:10PM as I finished cleaning crates and toping off food and fresh water w/ice for all the chickens & Chickie's..... Been trudging through 10 pages so far and still have 13 more to get thru..... In this 20+ minutes I was down to 0 alerts now I'm back up to 23???? Sheeesh y'all what do I have to look forward to now????

In the future ... write out your g'night post first ... go back and check for new posts before you post yours ... catch up. When you've reached the momentary "end," hit POST on your entry and sign out IMMEDIATELY, before anyone has a chance to add another post
It doesn't always work ... but the way this thread grows, you've got a better shot of actually being caught up before you log off.
I think I'm going to add another level to that particular challenge. When I sign off, I'll jot down how many new posts I'll find here the next time I log in ... THAT oughtta be interesting!

I haven't taken many pics lately... he's currently just watching me. He's my little shadow.

Kathy IS the rehab. I think I’d trust my animals with her more than most.

I love all corvids.

Would have a raven in a heartbeat if I didn't already have needy children. Maybe once they leave me with an empty nest I'll fill it with an indoor feathered child.

Ravens make AWESOME pets, but be prepared. They're very, VERY busy ... and nosier than a third-grader! Our local wildlife center had one for a long time. He was hit by a car and couldn't be released, so they hung onto him as a raven ambassador. When you're ready, let your local wildlife rehab know you're willing to adopt one. There's probably some training and certification you'll have to get, but it would be worth it!
