Tuxie Blu, a Corgi-Beagle who is my shadow. She is an award winning cuddler too

Betsy Ann, "the baby" even though she is the 3rd oldest at 10 yrs. Spoiled beyond belief. The only dog that sleeps with us.

This is Bubba, the goodest boy and my best friend. He and I have made many cross country road trips together. He is Beagle #2 and 12 yrs old.

our youngest at 6 yrs is Sugar Booger. She will ignore an intruder but will alert at the squirrel 2 houses and 1 road away that is thinking about coming toward our yard.
and finally, the grand dame herself, Matilda Mae. Turning 14 this year, she is a Diva and an absolute Daddy's Girl.

Does anybody know what the leg bands mean? I am just curious if it says anything about their age or anything like that? Not that it matters but just wondering. And will they need to come off eventually or can they stay on?

I tried to Google what they mean and found so many different answers and possibilities

I have no need to use them but I've seen them used as a different color band per hatching year. Easier to know who goes to the stew pot if you lots of chickens.
