No problem!! They do pretty well on it but I’m hoping to switch them to this or a more natural seed but they don’t like the pellets lol so might just keep them on the seed.

Yeah, it can be pretty hard switching feeds for any animal!

One time I was gonna feed my chickens a little bit of whole corn but they wouldn't eat it for at least a week! I finally got them to try it.... and now they LOVE it!

Yeah, mine were eating just millet sprays for a while and refused to even eat the seed mix but finally got them to eat it lol

That makes sense! Me too! Though mine just get commercial feed lol with occasional scraps. And I do usually let them free range but trying to integrate some chickens right now lol

nooo! Lol I’d lose them if they free ranged!!

And I didn’t realize they would sprout! Awesome! May have to try that haha

They do eventually come out of the nest, and the parents continue to feed them for a bit more. Definitely read up on it before trying, so you are more comfortable.
