Kitty and Dog Thread, Show Me What You Got, other critters welcome too

That’s hilarious!!! They sound like such characters!! :lau :love

And yeah, sorry, probably shouldn’t have said that. I’m sure you’ll have them for a while still if they’re still active!! :love

Gator had an autoimmune disease and went downhill/progressively got worse for like a year and a half before we put him down. :(

All my animals have more personality than my husband claims they should. I like them that way. :ya

Awe I am super sorry about Gator! It's hard to lose them when they are young. We had to put our wolf hybrid down when he was 10. He had a massive tumor on his spleen. :hit

this is Eleanor, my Boston terrier. in this picture she let me paint her nails. you can also see Reba in the back round.

Oh wow that’s crazy!! LOL Luna is usually pretty good and will just yell a lot and I can stop to pet her in between and get her to calm down some but she just gets more and more mad and if I don’t stop, she eventually turns into that hissing, arching, screaming hell beast 😂🙈
The last time he attacked me I threatened to shave him bald and leave his mane so the other cats would laugh at him! Then I saw a picture of a cat someone had shaved all but dragon spikes on its back. THAT is what I am going to do if he attacks me again! :lau

:lau how much personality “should” an animal have according to him!? 😂🤔

Thank you!! It really is. He was the best 😭😭

So sorry about yours!! :hit

So sad. :hit

Cancer sucks!

Gator most likely had MMM according to the vet but we never actually tested him. But he lost all the muscle mass in his head so developed a very prominent crown and his eyes also sunk way in and he started having eye infections, ear infections, skin infections, etc. and at one point actually lost like all his fur. :( I think the full name is masticatory muscle myositis and basically there’s a certain protein I think that the body starts attacking at least from what I understand. It attacks itself. It’s awful watching him decline over such a long period :( we tried a bunch of different stuff, steroids, etc. and it maybe slowed it some but didn’t stop it.
