Know I gotta, but I don't wanna - my polish crests *PICS* added

Naaah ... it's too much fun to laugh at them when you get creative! Our 4 are currently sporting mohawks. Since they're white crested blacks, I've been toying with the idea of some "groovy" hippie colors on top, maybe with a little glitter thrown in for good measure...

Gritty... I'm having the same problem... I have 5!!!
How do I go about trimming their crests? I used to be a dog groomer... do they just band them up like a yorkie? Be easier just to trim them IMO....

Thanks in advance....

And how do the same people always end up in the same threads???? Stalkers????

Will you post pics on how you trimmed them I have 2 polish that will need it soon and have no idea how to do it and I think before long the silkies will too, but I think they will be easier they are calmer.

I'll try to snap some pics tomorrow. Who knows, by then maybe one or more of them will have "gone punk"!

Okay, these pics suck because all I had was my cell phone, but I think you can see well enough to tell how I cut their top knots. I don't know if you can see the color I added lol. Zsa Zsa now sports yellow locks, and her sister Eva has blue. I wanted blue and orange because I did all my grad work at UF, but I was afraid orange is too close to red. Note, if you will, the well nuanced instances of stink eye, refined just enough for the situation yet not so bold as to be overly dramatic (they saved the drama for pooing on me!)

ETA:

I didn't color the roos' "hair," as I'm pretty sure they are already the "wimpy" kids that get picked on on the playground...

I have 7 wk old polish too and one of mine has wattles so I was thinking roo even though it's crest is all nice and round but I see your two girls have wattles so maybe I'm wrong. Do you have a picture of your roo? I was going to try tiny rubber hair bands to see if maybe they'd get along better if they could see. Bless their hearts, they are sooooo dim. Definately the wimpy kids.
