Thanks everyone, I’m ok... Everything is basically on hold right now, this doesn’t bode very well for chickens over winter, as I need to get a Chick order in ASAP if I want more layers for next year. Our Eggs sold out in first 10 minutes of the market and there were another 5 dozens I could have sold. We are also sold out of everything but drumsticks, breasts, and bones in just two afternoons of markets. I have people who want to place pre-orders, and weekly standing orders, as it’s “the best chicken they have ever tasted”. I have quality and in-demand products.

I am just waiting to see if the situation here on the Farm is going to be salvageable. Andrew is having a conversation with his second Aunt now about it. I don’t believe his father is speaking to us anymore. I will let you all know what’s happening when I know better myself. Thank you all for the support, it is beyond appreciated.

I can’t remember if I shared these... from my trip into town to visit my cousin, “Kevin” their feral neighborhood peacock. Turns out he has two GF’s not just the “one” everyone thought he had... hoping for some babies soon

Please Excuse our mess, and yes those are my dirty dishes awaiting transport to a working sink for wash day (they are still waiting, we are using paper plates instead). An eagle reveling in post Lamb BBQ gluttony outside our disposal pit.

And I caught my first Black Widow spider... she was hanging out in our recycling. The picture doesn’t do her justice, Ive never seen such a shiny black spider before, but there was no way I was going to try to get better ones! I released her in some nearby rocks.

Kris no need to apologize about dishes, we went weeks on end without running water, knowing every time we turned it on was like shredding $20 bills. Love the pea fowl and the spider as well.
