Unless it's on a CDC website, be careful what you believe.
One of the worst things about this crisis is the dissemination of false info.
I was going to add that if it is indeed true, the virus is new and as time passes we know more and more about it. At the start very little is known so best practice guidelines may have been followed. As more data and knowledge are available, updated guidelines may be needed.

This is why we should be happy when the guidelines change: it shows us that knowledge about this new thing is growing.

True Dat...even a lot of the CC info is based on SARS, but they clearly state that.

I stand by my proper hand washing and occasional dousing with 90% isopropyl alcohol as required. Many years in food service and retail grocery has “trained” me to be very conscious of touching my face, so I’m a little ahead of the game in restraining myself from that as needed. Ironically, protecting the customer’s product from myself has led to habits that are helping to protect me.

In other news FIL and his driver from the airport BIL are now out of their 14 day isolation period and seem to be Corona Virus free. Hopefully we can get started on the house build again soon.

Boy I hope so. I'm glad no one is ill. I can't wait to see the walls going up again.

My daughter pointed out also that the handwwashing and sanitation concepts are not different than what you are required to do to get a food handlers card. 🙂

The newest thing I’ve seen is that maybe Ivermectin will treat it! Some commenters on abcnews.comfigured they’d head to the pet store for heart worm medication. I figure we’ll all beat them to the farm supply store, right? I might already have horse wormer in the tack room!

My daughter said the same thing...as well as cross contamination.

Im kidding and I hope everyone is as well. These ideas are so preliminary that it’s silly to speculate more than ...hmmm...I wonder if ivermectin would interrupt the ability of the virus to replicate...

Good!
I doubt it, ivermectin is a parasiticide, not an anti-viral.
