i have a trophy winning champion flying chicken named red one. recently she came up lame. i searched the forums, but, don't see anything that exactly matches her condition. i thought her one of her leg joints may have been broken, but, they are all good. it seems to be her right foot in the underside of the toes. she hops but can put weight on it. i thought the toes were caked with dried mud. it didn't wash off though. the bottom of her foot is black. no more swollen than the good one. just very black and crusty. i used peroxide and scrubbed it, but, it didn't help. i've applied neosporin thinking it was an injury of some kind. it doesn't look like the way bumble foot is described. i'll try to get a pic later.
any suggestions to help her?
