R-Poultry- Any word on the eggs you incubated? Chicks? Pics?

Good fertility in the eggs. There were lots of quitters for some reason. Only one chuck hatched. A gorgeous lite splash! I haven't taken pics...I'm scared to. Cute, small, fluffy things don't last long with me around so I'm afraid to get attached!

Unfortunately yes. The incubator is perfect. It's hatched hundreds of birds. I'm sure the post office did a number on them. It's ok though. I should have a black pair this weekend with a blue and white pair in October.

Did you get married yet? I cannot remember the date on that?

Does it take a white rooster langshan and black hen langshan to create a blue langshan ?

Sara,the only way a blue can be created from that is if there is already a blue gene present in the parents. A black and white will give you all black chicks that carry a recessive gene for white.
