Lap quail possible?

Has anybody tried taming a coturnix quail to the point that it could sit on your lap? Is this possible with quails or only with larger poultry birds like chickens?

I don't think so... Quail are very timid and you'd have to practice the training in a room with no escape for the quail and nowhere to hide. Treats would also be necessary... so yeah, I think with enough time, and starting out with a baby quail, you might be able to. Just be sure that if you try this, the quail can't escape and to be quiet with it.

There are a couple of folk on here that post about their tame ones. So it’s at least possible.

It's possible, but it takes a lot of work and a lot of time.
