For those of you who use the anti-pick peepers on your LF Cochins, what is the youngest age which you use them.

My babies are a little over 5 weeks old now, and have been living in the big coop for the past week or so. They seem to be enjoying their new found freedom and everyone is getting along. In fact, the big girls are terrified of the fluffy footed monsters that are now sharing their space. Here are a few pics:

THats the problem they are both beautiful lovable birds. I have both LF cochins and brahmas and I love them both. My cochins were my first birds so they are the favorite but my brahmas are wonderful as well. My blue hen doodle is so tame that I can pick her up even when shes broody and carry her around she doesnt bite me or try to attack my hand like some do. ANd bes tof all they both purr

This is the first time I have tried posting pictures in a post....so lets see how it goes. If it works, you will see a picture of our 10 1/2 week old blue black cochin Dahlia and a picture of our black cochin Daisy....they are just so sweet. Of the nine cochins we started out with, 2 died, 5 turned out to be roosters and we got these precious 2! We have nine more cochin babies who are 2 1/2 weeks old...and we think 6/9 are hens...but luck this time. We think we will end up with a partridge, a silver laced, 2 light blues and 2 buffs.....we will see! So happy with our cochins!

Now to see if this picture thing works!!! LOL
